How to shop at the ASUshop.
Ordering from The ASUshop online is easy and
secure.
1. Find the category you are interested in by
selecting one of the 'Product Categories' on the left hand side of the page.
Once you have entered the desired product category you can browse through the
various products.
2. Choose a product you are interested in. If you
wish to see detailed information about the product, simply click on the product
title (in dark blue) and more detailed information will be available.
3. If you wish to purchase the product, click the
Add to Cart button on the right hand side of the page (next to the price of the
product you wish to purchase.) You may also do this in the regular list of
products as opposed to the detailed information of individual products.
4. If you would like to browse the site for more
products, simply click on any of the product categories on the left hand of the
page and repeat steps 2 & 3.
5. When you have finished shopping, you will have
a 'Cart' full of your selections, you may adjust quantities or remove items by
amended the quantity (left of the product title) or clicking the 'Remove' button
on the right hand side of the product. Click on the 'Recalculate Sub
Total' button underneath your items to recalculate the value of your order if
you have made any changes.
6. Now click on 'Proceed to Checkout' to complete
your order. you will then need to enter your name and billing address details.
If your delivery address is the as the billing address, simply check the 'same
as billing address' box. All fields that have a small 'pencil' icon next
to them require information entered into that field, failure to do so will
result in an error and your order cannot be processed further. Once all
your details are entered correctly, click the 'Continue' button.
7. The next screen will have your 'Billing and
Delivery Details Confirmation.' Please take a moment to ensure these
details are correct. Just below these details is a 'Product Selection
Confirmation.' Please take a moment to ensure these details are correct.
If you have Gift Voucher, enter the Gift Voucher code in the mentioned field and
click 'Update Cart' If you don't have any Gift Vouchers , scroll down to
additional information and enter any additional instructions or comments
relative to the delivery of your order. Please note, this screen is a
secure screen and encrypted for your protection (you will notice our secure
server logo on the bottom right hand of the screen to verify this.) Scroll down
to payment details and select the method you wish to pay, Credit Card, Cheque or
Paypal. If you select Credit Card, simply enter all the required card
information to complete the transaction. If you select Paypal, you are
directed to Paypal's secure server, prompted to enter your Paypal address &
password for payment to complete the transaction. If you select cheque,
simply enter the cheque number. Once your payment details have been
entered, simply click the 'Continue' button to complete your order. You
will be directed to the order confirmation page and your order is complete.
If you selected Post a Cheque as you payment method, you will need to post a
cheque to our address as specified on your order. Once your cheque has
cleared, we will dispatch your order.
What methods of payment are
accepted?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Paypal for all local
and international orders. We also accept personal cheques for local orders only.
Our Paypal address for payments is
asushop@asu.asn.au. Please note,
all Paypal transactions are handled in real time by Paypal via their secure
server and you are re-directed back to our website upon successful completion of
your transaction. This saves you time and one of the most secure ways to
pay for your online purchases.
Cheques should be made payable to ASU National
Office.
Are my credit card details safe?
Your credit card details are safe with us.
All transactions are handled by a secure 3rd party website, Ezimerchant - using
the latest encryption technology.
How long will my order take to
ship?
Orders are shipped daily from our office and
delivery times are generally within 2-3 business days to most capital cities.
Depending on the delivery service in your area, especially regional customers,
we are advised by Australia Post that delivery can take 4-8 working days.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
Refunds
If for any reason you are not satisfied with any purchases you
make from this site simply return your purchase within 14 days for a full refund
– no questions asked. Sorry we cannot refund freight charges on delivery and
return of goods.
Exchange
If a product that you purchases from the ASUshop website does not
meet your anticipated requirements you may request an exchange of the product.

of your request. You will need to return the delivered purchase within 14 days.
Sorry we cannot refund freight charges on delivery and return of goods.
Goods damaged in transit
If your purchase is damaged in transit we will send you a “no
charge” replacement, freight free. You will need to return the damaged product
(or fragments which demonstrate reasonable evidence of breakage in the case of
international orders) to us for assessment.
Method of Refunds
The Australian Services Union will refund to your credit card,
post a cheque or refund money using Paypal.
How to make a return
All we ask is that you print and fill in the Returns Form (can
be downloaded here), and return the product in its original condition with
its packaging. We will also need a copy of your order confirmation record and
goods receipt. All our details and required information for returns are also
found within the
